Chris Podzemny

Community Health Ambassador, The Fairly Foundation
Chris has dedicated his life to environmental stewardship and community well-being. With a professional background as an Environmental Investigator and over 25 years of experience building and maintaining trails across the Texas Panhandle, Chris has played a key role in making outdoor spaces more accessible and sustainable. His deep understanding of land use, coupled with a passion for conservation, laid the groundwork for a natural transition to his current role—where he works to expand outdoor recreation opportunities as a means of promoting both physical and mental health across the region. In 2021, Chris joined The Fairly Foundation with a renewed mission: to transform outdoor recreation into a community health initiative. Through his work with Six Pack Outdoors, Inc., he has spearheaded the development of multiple trail systems and launched the popular Six Pack Outdoor Series of mountain bike races—events that not only foster active lifestyles but also raise critical funds for continued trail development. Chris, his wife Tiffany, and their four children are deeply embedded in the outdoor recreation scene, and together they model the kind of active, engaged lifestyle they hope to inspire in others. Whether through advocacy, trail work, or community events, Chris remains committed to enhancing quality of life through nature-based experiences and community connection.
