Jeremy Williams serves as Senior Planner for the City of Fort Worth Transportation and Public Works Department, where he leads pedestrian and bicycle planning initiatives to create safer, more connected, and equitable active transportation networks. With extensive experience in long-range transportation, multimodal planning, and integrated land-use strategies at both regional and local levels, Jeremy develops and implements the city’s bicycle and pedestrian master plans, oversees infrastructure project prioritization, and advances Complete Streets and Vision Zero policies. He acts as the primary staff liaison to Fort Worth’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Commission and represents the city on the North Central Texas Council of Governments’ regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
Passionate about meaningful public engagement and Safe Routes to School programs, Jeremy works to ensure that walking and bicycling improvements benefit all residents, particularly children and underserved communities. He holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Texas A&M University, with graduate certificates in Transportation Planning and Sustainable Urbanism, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Houston.
