Katie Robillard is a Texas-licensed Landscape Architect (PLA) and professional member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) with a deep focus on creating equitable, inclusive, and beloved public parks. Since joining the Austin Parks Foundation in 2017 as Park Design Director, she leads community-driven park improvement projects from visioning through construction, oversees design and technical services for partner-led initiatives, and manages capital campaigns that have delivered millions of dollars in new and renewed park amenities across Austin. With more than 20 years of professional experience—16 in private practice and the last eight in the nonprofit sector—Katie has guided all phases of design and implementation, from master planning and schematic design to construction documentation and project management.
Her diverse portfolio spans healing gardens and healthcare campuses, neighborhood plans, trail corridors, and parks of every scale, with an emphasis on ecologically sensitive design, universal accessibility, and authentic community engagement. Katie is especially passionate about transforming underinvested neighborhood parks into vibrant, multigenerational gathering places that strengthen social connections and improve quality of life for all Austinites.
