Liz Fishback is a Government Affairs Specialist at Argo AI (now part of Ford’s Latitude AI initiative), where she has shaped state and local policy strategy for advanced mobility technologies since 2019. With a focus on safe integration of autonomous vehicles and shared mobility systems, Liz advocates for regulatory frameworks that support innovation while prioritizing pedestrian and bicyclist safety, accessibility, and equitable access to emerging transportation options. Her work bridges cutting-edge technology with public-sector partners to ensure new mobility solutions complement complete streets and active transportation networks.
Prior to Argo, Liz served in high-level government-affairs roles at The White House, the United States Senate, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and most recently as Director of Government Affairs at Stack AV, an autonomous-trucking technology company. A graduate of Smith College, she brings a rare blend of federal and state policy experience to the conversation about how automation, electrification, and shared mobility can reinforce—not replace—safe, human-scale streets. Based in Pittsburgh, Liz is a thoughtful voice on the future of inclusive, low-carbon urban transportation.
