This course, tailored to draw on the expertise of Charles Riou, a retired transportation engineer and President and Trails Director of the Austin Ridge Riders Mountain Bike Club. Through his extensive experience working with diverse land managers, including city parks departments, county agencies, and private landowners, Riou shares proven strategies for fostering positive relationships with user groups to create effective trail programs. Learn how to engage multiple user groups constructively, utilize nonprofits and volunteers to advance critical mission objectives, and address diverse needs to ensure sustainable trail development and maintenance.
