In November of 2020, the voters of Austin approved a historic $460 million bond referendum to fund active transportation and trails projects. It was many times previous bonding levels in Austin. Specific funding was also included for Vision Zero and Safe Routes to School projects. Find out how an Austin City Council Woman’s immersion into Dutch cycling inspired her to put a $460 Million Active Transoprtation Bond on the ballot in her first term.
